About Us

Galería Sánchez opened in 2004 under the direction of the well-known artist Erick Sánchez together with his wife Sonia Zayas. Originally, the gallery was located in a small and intimate space in the exclusive area of San Juan, Puerto Rico known as Ocean Park. However, later in the fall of 2006, the couple decided to move the gallery to an architecturally beautiful new space in the trendy and historic area of Old San Juan, better known as SoFo.

In their new location on 320 Fortaleza Street, Erick and Sonia have created a new gallery concept which they now refer to as a “Contemporary Fine Art Boutique.” Galería Sánchez is an exclusive space where the avid collector, as well as the impulsive buyer, is assured of selecting only a work of art deemed by the owners to be of the highest quality.

Galería Sánchez believes in service. We offer professional assistance and recomendations to collectors in their acquisition of fine art according their space and budget needs. We also work with architects, interior designers and developers in the design of a special sculpture or painting for any urban, commercial or residential art project. Also, we offer you different styles of fine framing to suit your personal taste and provide a complete installation service, illumination recomendations and delivery at your convenience. Our Gallery arrange worldwide shipping or may use your own carriers on request.
